We’re the Backbone of Our Community
Founded in 1879, the Salt River Pima-Maricopa Indian Community (SRPMIC) is a sovereign tribe located in the metro Phoenix area. The Community is run by a full-service government , which oversees departments, programs, projects and facilities.
In addition to Saddleback Communications, the Community owns and operates many successful enterprises, such as Talking Stick Resort, Casino Arizona, Salt River Materials Group, Salt River Fields and Talking Stick Golf Course.
Our Community Involvement
Saddleback Communications and our employees are integral to the Community. Aside from supporting the SRPMIC government, businesses and residents with communications services, we also take an active role in Community initiatives and activities, including job creation, economic development and advocacy.
We create jobs for Community residents in the fast-growing high-tech industry.
We train Community residents for technical roles with the opportunity for a full-time job.
We provide critical infrastructure for growth and business development.
Our president is board vice president for the National Tribal Telecom Association.
Our Path to Growth
Saddleback provides communications infrastructure that is critical to driving economic development on Community. We invite land developers to partner with us to identify and attract companies that are looking for business-friendly environment in which to invest, build and grow.
