Saddleback Communications was founded in 1997 by the Salt River Pima-Maricopa Indian Community (SRPMIC) to upgrade and enhance the quality of telephone, data and Internet services for the residents and businesses on the Community.
We became a federally regulated telephone company and the sole authorized provider of local telephone services and communications infrastructure to the Community.
Two decades later, we’ve invested millions of dollars in building an advanced communications company with a carrier-class, redundant network that provides the latest in high-availability connectivity and cloud-based collaboration to businesses as well as voice and high-speed Internet services to our residents.
Saddleback operates a highly secure, extremely reliable advanced communications network built on carrier-grade Central Office facilities, national data centers and diverse connections to local, national and international carriers. We provide a full range of communications services over our highly redundant fiber and switching networks to businesses and residents in our service territory.

Our Wholesale Subsidiary, Reinvent Telecom
In 2010, we invested in developing a cloud-based communications platform that would “reinvent” how and where we offered services to business customers. That initiative is now a fast-growing wholesale businesses run by our subsidiary aptly named Reinvent Telecom. Through Reinvent, reseller partners nationwide can deliver reliable, high-quality Hosted PBX, Unified Communications as a Service (UCaaS), Conferencing & Collaboration, Contact Center and SIP trunking services.
Saddleback Communications has experienced steady growth across two decades by recruiting and retaining executive leadership with extensive experience in telco operations, regulations, networks and sales.
President & General Manager
Bryant has more than 30 years’ experience working in the telecommunications industry. He has spent most of the last 20 years in General Management and Executive positions. He joined Saddleback Communications as President-General Manager in May 2005 and led a turnaround that resulted in positive net income performance in 2008. The company has experienced eight consecutive years of growth and has consistently attained net income to revenue ratios above the segment average.
Catlett brings more than a decade of experience in financial planning and analysis, private equity and corporate finance to his role as controller. Prior to joining Saddleback in 2019, he held finance management positions at US Airways and Indigo partners.
Catlett has a passion for analytics and new experiences, having visited more than 30 countries and been involved in business ventures on six continents. He has a knack for challenging convention and lives by the mantra for continuous improvement. He has a Bachelor’s degree in Economics from the University of Arizona and a Master’s Degree in International Business from the Thunderbird School of Global Management.
Vice President – Customer Service and Operations
Edl is charged with providing world-class customer service for Saddleback Communications. He has responsibility for Customer Service, IT, Field Operations, Planning, Engineering, and the Network Operations Center.
Edl is an accomplished operations leader with extensive experience overseeing service delivery, customer care, field operations, and network engineering and planning functions for telecommunications companies of all sizes, from small local exchange carriers to one of the largest companies in the U.S.
Edl has a master’s degree in Business Administration from Case Western Reserve University and a bachelor’s degree in Management from the University of Phoenix.
Vice President – Sales
Napoletano has more than 30 years experience in telecommunications technology business development and sales. He has driven sales for Saddleback Communications for more than a decade, taking on his current role in late 2017. During his tenure, he also championed and led the creation of Saddleback’s wholesale subsidiary Reinvent Telecom.
Previously, he spent 10 years in senior management in carrier services, including eight years as vice president of sales for a successful CLEC that sold in 2006. Prior, he spent 11 years in sales roles for enterprise PBX and carrier equipment technologies.
From engineering to customer service and repair to billing, it takes a team of experts to ensure that we deliver on our promise to provide reliable and innovative communications services. Saddleback has added three seasoned professionals to support growth for the company’s business services, including UCaaS, CCaaS and traditional voice and data services.
Accession Meeting provides web-based audio and video conferencing, including web collaboration features such as screen sharing, whiteboard annotations and presentation capabilities.
Saddleback hosted customers at the annual Barrett-Jackson event on Jan. 12-20 in Scottsdale, Ariz., as a thank you for their business.
